La Habana
Moverse de un lado a otro de la Habana es siempre un reto para los cubanos debido a la falta de transporte público. Hoy se divertirá conociendo La Habana sobre todo tipo de ruedas. Para comenzar el día contemplará el despertar de la ciudad desde el asiento de un bicitaxi. Este triciclo es usado por muchos cubanos para hacer las compras en el mercado y moverse entre los barrios donde no hay transporte público. Ya en la Habana vieja, descubrirá el pasado colonial de esta urbe en un recorrido por las 4 plazas más importantes. Para huir del calor disfrutará de un almuerzo en un restaurante local acompañado naturalmente por un sabroso Mojito. Luego tomará una calesa y bordeará la bahía hasta el corazón de la Habana republicana: El Parque Central. Aquí la arquitectura cubana muestra su esplendor con renombradas edificaciones como el Capitolio de La Habana, el Gran Teatro Alicia Alonso y el Hotel Inglaterra. Para adicionar belleza a la perfecta fotografía, hay alrededor del parque decenas de autos antiguos de los años 50 que funcionan como taxis. Póngase cómodo en el asiento trasero de un almendrón (un carro clásico americano) para disfrutar de un paseo panorámico por toda la ciudad. Visite la Plaza de la Revolución, el Bosque de la Habana, Miramar, 5ta avenida y finalmente el Malecón Habanero para terminar luego en su alojamiento,

La Habana
En el día de hoy seguirá una ruta donde sus protagonistas tienen un solo elemento en común: su pasión por el arte. La mañana comienza con una visita al proyecto de José Fuster, el "Gaudí del Caribe", un renombrado artista naïve cubano especializado en cerámica y pintura. Ha realizado una importante contribución a lo largo de 18 años de trabajo de construcción, decoración y restauración en la comunidad de Jaimanitas, en las afueras de La Habana, lugar donde vive. A continuación, visitará los ensayos de la compañía Havana Queens, proyecto fruto de la fusión de la coreógrafa cubana Rosario Blanco y el productor suizo Patrick Hofer. Aquí podrá conocer de los diferentes ritmos cubanos y dialogar con los bailarines. Más tarde es hora de andar el barrio de San Isidro en la Habana Vieja. El polémico barrio habanero, centro de la disidencia artística cubana, es sin duda un lugar especial para apreciar los murales contestatarios de grafiteros en los rincones insospechados de esta parte de la ciudad. Florecen además galerías de jóvenes artistas y negocios independientes de emprendedores locales. Después de recorrer el barrio, llegará a Los Almacenes de San José, el más grande mercado artesanal de Cuba donde tendrá tiempo libre para comprar su souvenir. Resto de la tarde libre. En la noche le aguarda una cena en el restaurante Casa Miglis, acompañada por el show de la compañía Havana Queens, donde verá en acción a los bailarines con quienes compartió en la mañana.

Soroa - Viñales
Por la mañana dejará el ajetreo y el bullicio de La Habana y rodará por una zona llena de paisajes naturales. El viaje se dirige a la provincia de Pinar del Río. Primera parada en Artemisa, allí conocerá de primera mano sobre la experiencia en una finca dedicada al desarrollo agroecológico de forma privada que ha emprendido numerosos proyectos comunitarios. Luego seguirá rumbo al Valle de Viñales donde tendrá un primer encuentro con esa maravilla natural desde el mirador Los Jazmines y a continuación podrá saciar su apetito disfrutando de un típico almuerzo en un restaurante administrado por un pintoresco personaje y su familia. En el Paladar de Alberto Vitamina, podrá probar el famoso cerdo asado cubano y otras delicias de la cocina cubana. Después de un día lleno de excitantes experiencia y antes de alojarse en la casa de una familia cubana en el pueblo de Viñales visitará la casa de un veguero para una breve explicación sobre el mundo del tabaco. Playa Larga
La belleza de la naturaleza trae en ocasiones sorpresas inesperadas. Hoy no necesita un despertador pues uno de los gallos del vecindario seguramente lo hará con gusto. Su destino será la Ciénaga de Zapata, el mayor humedal del Caribe insular. Durante el trayecto hará una parada intermedia para almorzar y luego un alto en la Casa del Zunzún, el patio privado del Sr Bernabé. En este paraíso de las aves podrá apreciar en libertad el zunzuncito, el ave más pequeña de mundo junto a otras especies que utilizan esta área como corredor migratorio. A pocos kilómetros del lugar descubrirá la Cueva de los Peces, conocida como el cenote más profundo y bello de Cuba. La laguna en esta área se conecta con un extenso sistema de cuevas submarinas que se extienden por más de 30 km desde Playa Larga hasta Caleta El Toro. Opcionalmente podrá pasar el resto del día en la playa cerca de su alojamiento. Disfrute en la noche de una cena hogareña en su casa particular. Distancia: 400 kms

Cienfuegos - Trinidad
Temprano en la mañana comenzará la ruta a lo largo de la Bahía de Cochinos en dirección a Playa Girón, sitio de la fallida invasión de mercenarios cubanos en 1961 apoyados por la Fuerza Aérea y Marina de EE. UU que resultó ser la primera gran derrota de los estadounidenses en América. Todos los detalles de las batallas incluyendo el armamento utilizado, podrá encontrarlo durante la visita al Museo de Playa Girón. A continuación, llegará a la bella ciudad de Cienfuegos, notable por sus amplias avenidas y estilo neoclásico debido a la planificación detallada de los colonos franceses que la fundaron. Visitará el Teatro Terry construido en 1890, el Parque Martí y el boulevard. Después de un almuerzo en un paladar (restaurante privado) bordeará toda la costa sur hasta Trinidad, declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO por su bien conservada arquitectura colonial surgida durante la época de oro del comercio azucarero en el siglo XIX. Recorrido por sus calles empedradas y sus plazas. Distancia: 220 kms

Los cubanos aman la naturaleza y muchos lugares de la Isla están protegidos por leyes medioambientales. Uno de estos lugares es nuestro destino de hoy: el Paisaje Natural Protegido de la Sierra del Escambray. Este bello lugar cuenta con casi la mitad de las especies endémicas de aves en Cuba y en áreas cercanas se cultiva el mejor café arábico del país. Partirá desde Trinidad en la mañana a través de una sinuosa carretera hasta una finca cubana. Allí entrará en contacto con el campo y sus costumbres, podrá ver los panales de abejas y disfrutar de su dulce miel, recorrerá un sendero hasta llegar a una cascada de aguas cristalinas donde podrá tomar un chapuzón y refrescar en medio de un paisaje hermoso. Luego podrá disfrutar de un almuerzo tradicional en los jardines de la hacienda, donde recostado en unas de sus cómodas hamacas podrá relajarse y tomar un café exquisito, mientras la suave brisa campestre le acaricia. En la tarde regresará a Trinidad. Distancia: 30 kms

Santa Clara - Varadero - La Habana
Atrás queda Trinidad sin embargo a 16 km esta su símbolo más conocido: La Torre Manaca Iznaga. Sobreviviente de la época de la esclavitud, esta torre domina el Valle de los Ingenios, lugar clave durante la época colonial en el procesamiento de caña de azúcar. Desde aquí continuaremos viaje hacia Santa Clara, la ciudad donde el guerrillero argentino Ernesto “Che” Guevara ganó la batalla final para el triunfo de la Revolución Cubana. Disfrutará una bebida refrescante en un restaurante con hermosas plantas decorativas antes de continuar a La Habana a través de Varadero (para aquellos que opten por una extensión de playa) Importante: El mausoleo (monumento del Che Guevara) está cerrado los lunes y puede estar cerrado otros días sin previo aviso. Distancia: 330/400 kms (No podemos garantizar la conexión con un vuelo internacional y por lo tanto no se recomienda el mismo día.
